Winder-leveller with coil lifter for an 18" wide cold strip line. The new (never used) mill equipment was purchased by a mill owner in 1999. They owned an 18" wide WF 4HI Mill, rolling thin gauge, that needed to be beefed up so that it could be used as a breakdown Mill to process heavy gauge stainless coils. After such new equipment was delivered, they could not shut down the old mill set-up because they had orders for tons of thin gauge work. Thereafter, their heavy gauge stainless program was never put into place due to subsequent poor economic and the new peripheral equipment was never installed. It has been wrapped up and kept in storage since 2000 The new equipment includes: Traversing Payoff assembly with AC motor Multi-Roll Feeder Leveler Assembly Left Winder Assembly with AC motor Right Winder Assembly with AC motor 3 Coil Cars with cover plates 3 Paper winders Such new equipment was originally purchased in 1999 for 1.5 million dollars, including the motors. Asking price today is $ 300,000. for the lot. The lot could be used as is as a narrow leveling, coil build up line, or if one has access to an 18"~20" wide mill housing, a complete Cold Rolling Mill can be rebuilt at low cost if one adds a Mill Proper and some thickness gauge.. Such complete mill could then be ideal for a plant that can slit wider (Like 20 tons) coils, to reroll them to thinner gauges. Drawings, spec and pictures are available.
